Refurbished Soul

Imagine you’re driving a car. You don’t have any particular destination, but you are consumed with the desire to just keep driving, always pushing it, somewhere, anywhere. Lined up alongside the road, your friends and family – even “society” in general – are all waving their hands to get your attention, yelling for you to turn around. Roadside signs read “Bridge Out Ahead! Fatal Drop. Turn Around!” Do you keep driving until there is no more pavement under your car, and you plunge into the depths where there is no return? Or do you make a choice to; slow down, hang a U-Turn, and alter your life’s path away from certain destruction?
If you’re reading this book, you – or maybe someone you know – wants to make that U-Turn. You can make that U-Turn, you really can, and I’m here to help. Because I was once driving that same personal car toward certain destruction, fell, and broke all that made me. I then decided to make the U-Turn.

Meet author

Frank Garcia

About fifteen years ago, Frank did the unthinkable and stepped out into the world on his own, leaving all he ever loved: his wife Christina, and their two daughters. He knew that one day he would need to further explain his actions for which there is no reason or excuse. In fear of his first-born daughter, Lauryn, he thought maybe it would be best to write her a letter in an attempt to share with her what had happened. As time passed, Satan would begin to clip on his puppeteering hooks into the shoulder blades of his new prospect. This book and time are what a letter to Lauryn morphed into. Frank was born in El Centro, California, and raised ten hours north in San Jose.
